Opera Minipay now available on iOS

MiniPay, a non-custodial stablecoin wallet built on the Celo blockchain, is now available as a standalone app on iOS and Android, according to a May 13, 2025 press release from Opera. The wallet, which was first launched within the Opera Mini browser, has reportedly seen more than 7 million wallets opened across 50+ countries. Jørgen Arnsen, EVP Mobile at Opera, said the wallet offers a simple, affordable dollar wallet that anyone can use, anywhere.
