PSE Roadmap: 2025 and Beyond

PSE, the Ethereum Foundation team, is refocusing from a cryptography explorations team into a problem-first team called Privacy Stewards for Ethereum, arguing that without strong privacy Ethereum risks becoming the backbone of global surveillance. The roadmap organizes work into three tracks: private writes, private reads, and private proving. Its highest-priority initiatives for the next three to six months include continuing PlasmaFold with a proof-of-concept targeted by Devconnect, kicking off the Institutional Privacy Task Force with the EF EcoDev Enterprise team, and developing TLSNotary as a production-ready zkTLS protocol.
