Pinata Blog | Introducing Pinata Gateway Plugins

Pinata has introduced Gateway Plugins, a plugin marketplace for developers to extend the functionality of Pinata's Dedicated IPFS Gateways, with its first plugins built in house. Developers can build plugins for an existing audience, and Pinata users can install them at the gateway level or at the individual CID level. The launch includes Hot Swaps, which lets users map new CIDs to an existing CID without changing the URL; Moderator, which blocks content that fails configured moderation filters; and Content Addressable Attestation, which lets gateway owners attest to ownership and validity of content through a wallet signature. Gateway Plugins will go live soon, with access given first to people on an interest list.
