Project Glasswing: Securing critical software for the AI era

Anthropic launched Project Glasswing in April 2026 to use its unreleased Claude Mythos Preview model to find and fix security flaws in critical software. Launch partners include Amazon Web Services, Apple, Google, Microsoft, Nvidia and JPMorganChase, and over 40 additional organizations that build or maintain critical infrastructure were also given access. Anthropic says Mythos Preview has found thousands of high-severity vulnerabilities, and it committed up to $100M in usage credits and $4M in donations to open-source security organizations. In October 2026, Anthropic announced an expanded Cyber Verification Program with three access tiers.
