Record Fin. Pushes Real-Time Royalties on Avalanche to Modernize Music Payments

Record Financial is building a royalty payment platform on Avalanche that aggregates royalty data as it is generated and pays creators in USDC, aiming to bypass legacy intermediaries and slow accounting. Early adopter 11am, a label and management company behind artists Armani White, RealestK, and Lil Tjay, is using the system to give artists real-time visibility into earnings. Travis Garrett, Record Financial's CEO, says that settling royalties at the speed they are created would eliminate much of the friction in the industry. Ava Labs' VP of OnChain Finance, Morgan Krupetsky, credits Garrett's Web2 background and says Avalanche's stablecoin infrastructure is more institutional than in earlier attempts. The company plans to expand into film, TV, gaming, and digital media.
