Robinhood Token Stocks On Arbitrum

Robinhood has launched tokenized U.S. stocks and ETFs on Arbitrum One, with over 200 available to European users. The offering includes zero commissions, dividend payouts, and 24/5 trading, and one token is minted onchain for each share purchased. Robinhood plans to migrate the tokens to Robinhood Chain, its own Layer 2 built on the Arbitrum Orbit stack, and to allow transfers to self-custodial wallets in later phases. It also announced plans for a crypto perpetual futures exchange and tokenized private company shares, such as OpenAI and SpaceX.
