Robot dogs wearing Musk, Zuckerberg faces steal Miami art show

Beeple (Mike Winkelmann) is showing "Regular Animals" at Art Basel in Miami, a project of robotic dogs with hyperrealistic silicone faces of tech billionaires such as Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg, along with famous artists. Winkelmann says the robots reinterpret the world through the lenses of the different characters, taking photos that become unique NFT prints in distinct visual styles. The robots also give away free NFT souvenirs, and the article reports that every animal was sold within the first hour of the fair. Reactions were mixed, with some onlookers calling the work "disgusting" or "disturbing" and others finding it brilliant.
