Sepolia & Holesky Dencun Announcement

Ethereum's Dencun upgrade went live on the Goerli testnet on January 17, 2024, and is scheduled for Sepolia and Holesky, with activation on Sepolia at epoch 132608 (January 30, 22:51 UTC) and on Holesky at epoch 29696 (February 7, 11:35 UTC). The upgrade introduces ephemeral data blobs via EIP-4844, also known as "protodanksharding", which will help reduce L2 transaction fees. Holesky Lodestar users must upgrade to v1.15.0 before activation, and Prysm and Nimbus have recommended v4.2.1 and v24.2.0 respectively. Mainnet deployment will follow if the testnet upgrades go smoothly.
