Sora is here

OpenAI has released Sora, its video generation technology, in an early version that it describes as having many limitations, including unrealistic physics and difficulty with complex actions over long durations. The company says Sora Turbo is much faster than the February preview, but it is still working to make the technology affordable for everyone. OpenAI says the release is meant to give society time to explore its possibilities and co-develop norms and safeguards. Safeguards include C2PA metadata on all Sora videos, visible watermarks by default, an internal search tool to help verify Sora content, and a block on abuse such as child sexual abuse material and sexual deepfakes.
