Staking Survey 2024

The Staking Survey 2024 reports that independent Ethereum stakers, often called solo stakers, show high confidence and resilience in staking despite concerns about structural disenfranchisement and centralization pressures. Data were collected from 8 April to 6 May 2024 via LimeSurvey, with 1,024 total responses, 868 of them from stakers who claim to control their node's configuration. Among respondents, 80% run from home, 84% hold no significant liquid staking tokens, and 77% stake 66% to 100% of their ETH. The survey authors describe the results as more qualitative than quantitative because they rely on subjective data from a self-selected group.
