Tap into shortcuts with a new custom keyboard from Figma x Work Louder

Figma and Work Louder, a Montréal-based maker of modular keyboards, have built a customized Creator Micro keyboard that lets designers navigate the Figma canvas more tactilely. Figma Product Manager Rob Bye developed the keyboard with the Work Louder team, and it has 12 keys and two rotary encoders that allow for 48 different shortcuts, while Figma has over 150 possible shortcuts. Michael di Genova, Co-founder at Work Louder, says the grid layout makes custom shortcut placement easy to map mentally, and the physical feedback helps users build muscle memory.
