Tempo Mainnet is live

Tempo Mainnet, a blockchain built for real-world payments with instant settlement, predictable low fees and high throughput, is now live through public RPC endpoints. The launch also introduces the Machine Payments Protocol (MPP), an open standard for machine payments co-authored by Stripe and Tempo, which lets agents request, authorize and settle payments with services. Sessions let an agent set aside funds upfront and stream payments without a separate onchain transaction for each interaction. At launch, the payments directory includes more than 100 services, including Alchemy, Dune Analytics, Merit Systems and Parallel Web Systems.
