The Gift Economics Channel

Studio Slowcore has launched the Gift Economics channel, a small-scale gift economics lab and roundtable on Farcaster, stewarded and moderated by Danica Swanson, @trigs.eth, and @y0b. The channel hosts long-form discussions of structural factors that influence how writers, artists and other creative professionals are paid, and it aims to bring more clarity to compensation in the arts. Phase one experiments with hybrid gift and market models to sustain the channels without tokenizing the community. The stewards say the channel is invite-only, that they will not launch a coin, and that crypto gifts sent to the studio's multisig will fund channel initiatives.
