The Slowcore HQ Channel Revival + Manifesto

The Studio Slowcore team announced the revival of the /slowcore-hq channel on Farcaster after a long hibernation, with planned initiatives including Slothy Awards for contributors, weekly "not-doing" rituals, expanded Slowcore Manifesto work, and slowcore-friendly meetups. The channel was started on April 8, 2024 by @trishd and a collaborator for their Black Stone Sanctuary project, and the name was later handed to the community after @tombeck.eth's essay "In Praise of Going Slow" put slowcore on the map. The text also presents a manifesto adapted from Danica Swanson's essay "Slowcore and the Inner Genius," which says slow culture should be the norm and that the north star is deep refinement and sovereignty of human attention. The team states it will not launch a coin, but will accept crypto gifts to its multisig to fund channel initiatives.
