Timber Price Indices

This Forest Research publication reports timber price inflation for Great Britain, based on sales by Forestry England, Forestry and Land Scotland and Natural Resources Wales. It comprises the Coniferous Standing Sales Price Index and the Softwood Sawlog Price Index. The indices are published twice a year, with data to 31 March released in May and data to 30 September released in November. This release, published 28 May 2026, covers data to March 2026.
