> If we’re able to prevail in this lawsuit, It’s my hope that all NFT creators will feel safe to experiment and find new ways of making a living on the internet. > NFTs have become a joke lately. It feels similar to 2017. Hardly anyone thinks there’s anything worth pursuing. But I still believe in NFTs! Beyond the hype of 2021, and beyond the fallow period we’re in now, the core idea that initially got me excited is still there. This is sadly true. I feel like our own NFT has become harder and harder to sell as well, which makes me think that maybe we should hide it entirely from the UI, as it doesn't seem to serve any useful purpose at the moment.

Love the song, it's hilarious. As for NFTs, I think it will take some time until people realize that not all NFTs are created equal. A lot of NFTs are scams and speculation bubbles, and people naturally associate that with them. You can have an NFT representing a unique piece of art, but you can also have a NFT representing a ticket of some sort. I think we have to separate the buckets and not call them all NFTs, even if that's what they are behind the hood. There are digital collectibles, tickets, access keys, memorabilia, game items, tradable assets, and so on... Let's call things for what they represent, instead of based on the technology that is used.
