When I started recording Web3 Talks, the freedom of podcasting platforms really surprised me. I knew RSS from the old Internet days but thought it wasn't used outside pretty niche RSS Readers.

From a practical standpoint, the podcasting market is still very concentrated. The only platforms that matter are Spotify, Apple & YouTube. And your subscribers are tied to these platforms - if they delete the app, they won't subscribe to you anymore.

That being said, it's still a step in the right direction and much better than being dependent only on one platform :)
