Why I joined the Nouns

Brandon James Scott writes that he has joined the Nouns DAO by acquiring Noun #1074 for $10k, the culmination of a three-year journey covering the project since its 2021 launch. He cites the smart contracts, which he calls a technical work of Ethereum art that gave rise to the "Nounish DAO" primitive, the fully onchain art by crypto-native artists Gremplin and Timpers, and the collective's grassroots funding of art, charity, esports and public goods. He says the purchase is not about financial value and that he will not resell the Noun, and he urges readers to find a crypto project they love and dive in.
