i think content can be inherently valuable. there are millions if not billions of dollars sent to people via Patreon, buymeacoffee etc. just as a way to say 'thank you for your content' without expecting anything in return.

When they launched 'content coins' or whatever name it had, they created a coin tied to each piece of your content. And this created terrible incentives for creators because if they wanted to get some money out, they had to rug people who bought their content coins. Not good for community building.

With these creator coins, I just get some ZORA coins whenever someone trades my creator coin. So the incentives seem to be better because I don't need to sell anything, it's just money that's going to my wallet. Already made over $40 in ZORA coin.
