@dwr: Used AI to run Farcaster iOS client on simulator in 2h10m, 1.1M tokens

Dan Romero (@dwr) reports that he used Codex with GPT5.6 Sol and its goal feature to get the Farcaster client running on the iOS Simulator on his MacBook. The process took 2 hours and 10 minutes and 1,134,938 tokens. He then had the agent write a guide for other agents aimed at reducing setup time and token use. He notes that downloading Xcode may take a while, and says that before AI, setup would have been impossible for most people and very frustrating for experienced ones.
