“important” NFTs

I think of “important” NFTs as having three strands: (i) the market (an imperfect, but important signal); (ii) Big Art (museums, fine art and Art History); and (iii) the cutting edge (those concerned with exploring new ideas, sometimes at the expense of more traditional notions of what “good art” should be). If you believe in (i) this is a solid list to start with. But, I think there’s a better list out there waiting to be made, but acknowledge that just about everything is up for argument at this point and time.

Inspired by @punk6529 thread on NFT scarcity and rarity I decided to map it out visually based on available metrics. Obviously it’s subjective and still a work in progress but I think it’s a cool starting point for a discussion. What’s missing? What should be changed?
