I just had exactly the same page over on the /community page where users are currently displayed as having received 0.00001 ETH or whatever, and it's really awkward. I'd actually be happy to just adopt this standard right now.
I really like the idea. I hope it will get lots of traction 'cause it's actually really useful. I think it'll be hard, like with many other proposed standards (not quite the same, but still).
What is great about web3 is that we get to invent new standards. (And we should.)
