Ah damn it, I missed this article that morning. It made me really nostalgic. I'm sad because in modern web design the desktop experience is always intentionally an after thought because the larger and more engaged user base is on mobile and so "what are you waiting for, don't waste your time with designing the desktop!" It's a bummer and it makes me want to put more effort into Kiwi's desktop app actually.
