The Feed is the base layer of media (jihad.house)
Reminds me of the James Clear quote: "When you choose who to follow on Twitter, you are choosing your future thoughts." An interesting thing about Twitter is that following people is a very light interaction. I may follow someone, but I also follow 1,000 other people, so chances are I won't even see the newly followed person's posts in my feed. And I guess it's a feature, not a bug, as Twitter is very serendipitous in nature. we don't open it with a strong intention: "I want to learn about X"; we open it to kill our boredom. Theoretically, we can subscribe to people, but it's not the primary interaction. On YouTube or newsletters, on the other hand, it's all about subscribing. The intentionality is high, as when I subscribe, I am sure I will get notified when this person posts.
