I like Li's strategy for releasing a blog post. Maybe I'm overthinking this, but I've noticed a pattern here. She seems to draft up the new idea concisely, without much detail, and releases it as a Twitter and Farcaster screenshot essay. Then, at least for her last essay, she writes a more detailed version and releases it on her Substack/Paragraph. I'd assume this gives her the following benefits: - She can see whether the idea sparks interest, so it's a hedge and feedback loop to find out what sticks these days. - She can incorporate the Twitter/FC feedback into the main piece. - She primes everyone, "Hey, there is a new idea," and so I'd assume that the longer Substack pieces then also have a higher completion rate. Pretty interesting strategy; I feel like I should apply it too.
