Really enjoyed this one, even though it was a long read! I went to see Weyl and Tang in person in Berlin. But I haven‘t gotten a chance to read their latest.Still, I‘m a big fan of RM so it should be interesting!
With Durov getting arrested for nothing we can specifically pin point today I‘m starting to wonder whether these long philosophical pieces from Vitalik laying out his essentially very virtuous vision of a democratic future are also a means of protecting his reputation. Think about it, he has released so many texts describing his personality, it‘d feel quite surprising if he was implicated for being a traitor or evil mastermind now. The internet has already soaked up his personality.
