gm,

if you're a newcomer to our Daily Discussion thread, this is a place where we discuss all Ethereum topics, news, events. And sometimes even things that are not directly Ethereum-related.

Yesterday I recorded an interview with @mishaderidder.eth (going to be out soon!). Although we knew each other for some time, I got surprised by a few things he's been working on.

This lead me to an idea - if you're a Kiwi, could you share what are you working on in crypto?

Doesn't matter if you work at Coinbase, on your own startup or just write your blog - I'd like to know!

Hey all. I'm working on scoutgame.xyz to reward developers who contribute to the Open Source Crypto Ecosystem.

⚑️ Scout Game is a weekly global developer competition. Developers earn points by contributing to Open Source.

πŸ’° Players earn points (soon tokens) by picking top Developers.

πŸ“ˆ Ecosystems provide additional rewards to those supporting their ecosystem. (Optimism, Celo, Octant, etc).

I'm personally trying to grow the number of developers playing. If you contribute to Open Source software in crypto, its self-serve to sign up as a developer but I'd love to talk you about it if you are curious.

I am working on not going insane. Β¬β€ΏΒ¬

Crypto-related things:

I am working as a Marketer with SQD, a data access platform for onchain data (200+ chains integrated and growing so if you ever have a desire to build an indexer and get data for nearly free and fast, that's sqd.ai for you). πŸ¦‘

I also write the bi-weekly newsletter for an Australian exchange called coinjar, you can find it on their blog (https://www.coinjar.com/global/blog)

As if that wasn't enough freelance writing, I also occasionally ghostwrite for Coldchain (so I've indirectly been published on Cointelegraph a few times ^^) and am a writer at Block3PR.

If anyone here ever needs a decent PR agency, a writer or SEO help, I can hook you up.

On top of that, I always make time for my personal writing because it keeps me sane. That is on paragraph: https://paragraph.xyz/@cryptonao

I'm also always casually working on my personal website (https://mmm.page/cryptonao) and currently trying to organize a sort of "EthCC" fork but in Budapest.

Hi, it's Brais.eth under another ENS :)

www.createyourwallet.com (domain registered but not working yet)

This is a project I recently started after ETH.DENVER with 2 other friends.
It basically allows you to create a wallet with one click using a Google email.

The wallet introduces account (wallet) abstraction and blockchain abstraction (no tokens, no cryptos, no protocols...) and integrates an AI agent to answer questions and operate your wallet.

We aim to build the ultimate wallet for normies, accepting any crypto or token while managing everything in USD.

"As always, the technology is there. We think that now, with account abstraction, blockchain abstraction, the agent, and the website, this could be the onboarding that a normie needs. Just a website and one click.

Because it's not the same if someone convinces you to create a wallet just to get an appβ€”but what if you don’t want the app? Who gives me just the wallet so I can start playing?

gm gm.

I'm Jacob Homanics! Currently working on finding my next role as a developer. Rebuilt my portfolio site: https://jacobhomanics.com and have been applying and scouring twitter, warpcast, etc for job postings and reaching out to my colleagues.

The first two months of the year I ended up building the mission application process for OP's Dev Tooling & Onchain Builders round through OP Atlas.

In my spare time i've been contributing open source to a couple of projects, cleaning up my personal brand, and getting a temperature check on the ecosystem as a whole.

In more ethereum specific context, its been very nice to see the EF recognize a couple of its pain points and actively work towards solving them. I'm excited to see what will happen with Etherealize and the such since they have the potential of giving "Ethereum" a proper identity. I felt in the past it was kind of hard to interact with "Ethereum" proper. They felt like a walled garden in a sense. Of course most things were public, but there wasn't many people to talk to or interact with directly (from my perspective). So yeah...excited to see these changes come into place and hoping for a more open and present "Ethereum" ecosystem!

Thanks everyone for sharing what you do!

@ccarella thanks for sharing what you do. We have many devs in the community, so maybe someone will join now :)

@naomiii actually didn't know you do ghostwriting! I have one friend who runs a cool crypto project and might be interested in commissioning a piece, will ask him if it's still a thing and let you know.

@notadj sounds like you have good timing! Do you have any demo so we could see it in action?

@jacob I think I haven't seen you in the comments section yet, so thanks for speaking out! I checked your portfolio and you have some nice oldschool games in there. BTW totally share your optimism re: Ethrealize. I've heard Danny Ryan is about to go to the Friday's crypto dinner in DC, and I think he'd be a great ambassador for Ethereum.
