80% of wallets make their way to Uniswap on day one

Austin Adams argues that Uniswap is where many new users first experience DeFi, and that Uniswap's data supports this. He reports that about 55% of new wallet transactions on the Uniswap interface are users' first-ever swap, and another 25% made their first swap on Uniswap within a day of their first Ethereum transaction. He also cites around 35,000 new wallets per day swapping on the interface, noting that this does not necessarily mean 35,000 new users each day, though a large subset are net new.
