Announcing: EigenLayer ♾ EigenDA Mainnet Launch

EigenLayer and EigenDA have launched on Ethereum mainnet, letting restakers delegate their entire stake to operators, operators opt in to run AVSs, and AVSs such as EigenDA register with the protocol. The launch excludes in-protocol payments from AVSs to operators and slashing, which the team plans to introduce later this year. EigenDA's active operator set is limited to the largest 200 operators by delegated stake, a cap the text attributes to a gas cost constraint on signature verification. Rollups can onboard to EigenDA on mainnet only after the operator set and delegations stabilize, so testing continues on Holesky for now.
