Introducing Restaked Rollups

EigenLayer and AltLayer announced a partnership to introduce "restaked rollups," a new category of EigenLayer AVS that bundles several rollup support services into a single integration. The services named include decentralized sequencing, verification, and fast finality, built on EigenLayer's shared security. The announcement says the framework combines ETH staking with AltLayer's end-to-end infrastructure and will give rollup developers one-click integration and a streamlined developer experience. The text also says EigenLayer's pooled economic security means an attacker must control a majority of the total restaked stake, for example $10B across 1000 services, to attack any one service.
