Anyone knows why Optimism sequencer is down so badly compared to Base & Arbitrum?
My guess is that the gas limit for each block is way lower than you could do with an optimistic Rollup: if you see Base, it started making money after they increased the gas limit, and you can see that the TPS haven’t changed that much, but they made more and more money. If you can squeeze more gas in a block (hence, in a batch) you have more money, since the fees paid to the L1 are relatively flat over time in the past 6 months after 4844 acitvated.
