Blockscout MCP Server delivers guidance to AI agents via Server Instructions

The Blockscout MCP server gives AI agents its operational guidance through two synchronized channels: the standard MCP instructions field sent at initialization, and a dedicated tool named __unlock_blockchain_analysis__. The design exists because testing showed that many MCP hosts, including Claude Desktop, ignored the initialization instructions, and an earlier tool named __get_instructions__ was treated as optional reading. Renaming it to __unlock_blockchain_analysis__ led most models to call it before using analytical tools. The instructions cover chain selection, pagination, time-based queries, block time estimation, binary search for temporal boundaries, and a catalog of direct API call endpoints.
