Blockscout unveils a full-featured explorer for the Filecoin ecosystem

Blockscout has launched a full-featured explorer for the Filecoin Virtual Machine (FVM), available at filecoin.blockscout.com, after about eight months of work with the Filecoin ecosystem. The explorer offers faster indexing, search, and views for transactions, receipts, addresses, and metadata, along with contract interaction, APIs, log access, and internal transaction views for developers. Development began in 2023, and after the nv21 mainnet update in December 2023 Blockscout set up an archival Lotus node for the Filecoin EVM, with joint working sessions identifying and fixing indexing bottlenecks. Ulyana Skladchikova, Product Lead at BlockScout, praised the collaboration.
