Declare your AIndependence: block AI bots, scrapers, crawlers with single click

Cloudflare has launched a one-click option, available to all customers including free-tier users, to block all AI bots, which it says is meant to help content creators keep control over their content. The company says Bytespider, Amazonbot, ClaudeBot and GPTBot were the top four AI crawlers by request volume on its network. It also reports that in June, AI bots accessed about 39% of the top one million Internet properties using Cloudflare, but only 2.98% of those properties blocked or challenged them. Cloudflare says its machine learning models still scored a spoofed-user-agent bot as likely automated, with scores of 9 or less.
