ENSv2 Is Live on Mainnet | ENS Blog

ENSv2 went live on Ethereum mainnet, introducing a rebuilt protocol along with a new ENS App for everyday users and a new ENS Explorer for builders. The protocol adds hierarchical registries, more precise permissions, updated name resolution and record sharing through linking. Existing .eth names keep working without re-registration, and holders can upgrade them directly in the ENS App; ENS reports over 36 million names and more than 600 supporting applications.
