Introducing the NFT.Storage DAO

NFT.Storage is transitioning to decentralized governance by launching the NFT.Storage DAO, and it is closing registrations for its original service, NFT.Storage Classic. The announcement says the Classic web app, API, SDK, NFTUp and Pinning API will no longer accept new registrations, while existing account holders can keep accessing their data across IPFS and the Filecoin Network. The platform, which has over 165,000 users and 660 TB of data under its care, invites users to create new accounts for its evolved services and to join the DAO.
