Piezo by rudxane | Verse

Piezo is a generative artwork by rudxane, built from a grid system that is deliberately broken apart through mirroring. Each grid block is randomly assigned line spacing, which produces a spray-like grain, and each block mirrors across the x-axis to the left, doubling its width so that blocks overlap and blend. Color palettes are generated randomly from a base of 2 to 7 colors and assigned to grid locations, a departure from the predetermined palettes rudxane often used before. The work is created in Vanilla JS and is described as related in intent to the earlier generative series "Fold."
