AI summary of the linked articleThe author, who attended Funding the Commons and DevCon in Bangkok, argues that the Ethereum community offers hope after what they describe as the mostly dead idealism of crypto online. Funding the Commons, an organisation bridging builders and researchers to create new mechanisms for digital public goods funding, impressed them as an introduction to the ecosystem. 1 comment Whenever I go to the Ethereum conferences (Dappcon, ETHWarsaw, Devcon, Devconnect), it's always striking how different the vibes and narratives are compared to Crypto Twitter. Idk if CT is dominated by different people than conference attendees, or are they the same people who just lose 50 IQ points because of the Twitter "I want to be a high school cool kid and will optimize for posting quick gotcha takes" vibes |
