Securitize Agrees to Buy Crypto Wealth Manager Onramp to Expand RIA Services

Securitize, an asset tokenization firm, has agreed to acquire digital asset wealth platform Onramp Invest to extend its offering to registered investment advisors (RIAs). The deal is expected to close in the coming days, and its terms have not been disclosed, according to an emailed announcement. Onramp will operate as a subsidiary and integrate Securitize products into its existing service, which aims to let RIAs offer clients tokenized alternative assets such as private equity, private credit, secondaries and real estate. Securitize CEO Carlos Domingo said Onramp already gave RIAs easy access to digital assets, making tokenized alternatives a natural extension.
