Shapes

Shapes is an onchain generative ERC-721 project in which each Shape is backed by one of nine fixed amounts of ETH and can be burned at any time to redeem that exact backing. The backing value determines the artwork, with higher values producing fewer marks, such as a 0.01 ETH Shape filling a 5 × 5 grid and a 100 ETH Shape appearing as one mark on a field. Minting costs the selected backing plus a one-time 0.001 ETH fee, and the contract holds the ETH without lending, staking, or investing it. Compatible Shapes can also be composed into a higher-value Shape, with their ETH and history moving into the survivor.
