The Next Evolution in Slashing: Redistribution Coming to EigenLayer

EigenLayer is adding Redistribution, the next phase of its Slashing upgrade, which will let AVSs repurpose and distribute slashed funds according to their use case instead of burning them. Redistribution is live on the Holesky, Sepolia and Hoodi testnets as of May, with mainnet availability planned for June. It is opt-in for both AVSs and Operators, and for the first release all non-ETH assets, including LSTs, EIGEN and USDC, are eligible, while ETH is not.
