Yes dear Kiwi reader bearish news never comes alone. I also found out Brave browser has depreciated their local in-browser IPFS node. Brave discontinued its local IPFS node support and the IPFS Companion extension. This decision is driven by the costs associated with support, maintenance, and updates required for the IPFS integration, as well as the low usage statistics, with 99.9% of users not utilizing the local node feature. The removal of these features will also reduce the attack surface of the browser. Users can still access IPFS content through public gateways, but the local node option will no longer be available. Anyway I’m announcing I will be running my three IPFS solo nodes regardless. Someone has to keep the art safe!
