That's why I like writing - it forces me to think slowly and deliberately. I've read this quote somewhere that "Writing is a tool for thinking" and I totally agree. Yes and I would like to add on the visual spectrum, drawing by hand and photography are great tools for looking slowly. Thinking and looking, and in the end actually seeing are deeply intertwined. Looking can go fast, but really seeing stuff sometimes demands slowing down. | |
