Native USDC on Base

Circle's native USDC is coming to Base, and Base describes it as the official form of USDC for the ecosystem. Over time, native USDC liquidity is expected to grow and may replace the bridged USDbC liquidity that comes from Ethereum. The article says native USDC is fully reserved and always redeemable 1:1 for US dollars, and that it enables institutional on/off-ramps. Base will work with ecosystem apps on an optional, gradual move of liquidity from USDbC to USDC, and Base Bridge will not change immediately.
