The State of Web3 Growth 2024

The Safary report on web3 growth companies tracks 160+ teams, with 101 startups that have collectively raised nearly $1 billion, and finds that more than half of the companies in the category did not survive their first two years. It reports $277M in new funding across 23 startups since the prior year, with Attribution/Analytics, Loyalty, and Social startups receiving 80% of dollars raised across 10 categories. Loyalty fell from 40+ teams building in 2023 to 18 today, and Affiliate & Referrals dropped from 17 teams to 9, with its two best-funded teams closing. The report notes that some fundraising figures are private, shared by 10+ teams.
